'Sea of Desire'

Formerly titled 'Not Two' because of the male and female forms arising from a singular central point, I renamed this one because to me what we see as 'us' arises from a sea of desire.  And so that we may experience, we must build references: Without the 'good', can we define a 'bad'? Without a 'you' can you point to a 'me'? Without female, can you define male? No....for you have nothing to compare it to. Nothing to define it by.

And in this way, not only can one not exist without the other, but it all arises from this Sea of Desire. To be able to observe anything, you must also know it's counterpart. And in a similar manner, in this watercolor you can observe male and female growing out of the One. Only together can they be different.
