This monochromatic watercolor fascinated me. I
could clearly see lots of detail, but couldn't quite make out what it
was. Then, slowly I began to see what appeared to me to be a head in
profile, wearing a large ornate mask of some sort. The mask has always
had a Hindu or perhaps Chinese flavor to me, but I don't have a specific
reason why. And yet, the whole thing has a 'Greek' feel to me. I guess
it's a cultural grab-bag. Even so, The Goddess has always fascinated me, and hangs in my bedroom, overseeing all that is Divine for me while I sleep. What do YOU see? Peace- unASLEEP Click here |
