This watercolor STILL surprises me. I have no idea where it came from, only that there appears to be a face wearing a mask surrounded by bubbles...no doubt from what must be a bubble pipe held in his or her teeth. I do love the feel of 'giving into pure enjoyment' that this image always implies to me, but perhaps most endearing of all to me is the overbite, which always makes me think of Freddie Mercury (of Queen). And this over-the-top watercolor of unexpected images is just like something he might conceive. I bet Freddie liked Carnival. Don't you? :-) I hope you enjoy.
